Friday, March 5th. Spiritual Cinema Movie “Amal” directed by Canadian, Richie Mehta, 101 min, this movie has received excellent reviews.
Autorickshaw driver Amal is content with the small but vital role he serves—driving customers around New Delhi as quickly and safely as possible. But his sense of duty is tested by an eccentric, aging billionaire, who, moved by Amal's humility, bequeaths him his entire estate before passing away. More exciting news from your favorite Centre,
Things are really happening and as always 'THINGS' becomes a capital word in December. Our membership drive was very successful but we are noticing a few of you have not come back. Soon we will be updating this list and we certainly don't want to leave any of you out of the loop if you are wanting to be with us. So right now take that moment and resubscribe as a member if you haven't already taken care of that.
And now for the exciting news; first we have put our minister Rev Dale onto You Tube! Yes, internet video has captured us and you can find it by entering: Science of Mind, Rev. Dale Jukes in the You Tube search bar. Of course soon our webmaster Michael of Panache webhosting will be adding these to our site but you can go there first and put us at the top of the search.
We have many fun things happening this month, today, of course is our Birthday Sunday for all you December babies. Congratulations to Lloyd Klein, the first minister to this Centre, who celebrated his sixtieth yesterday.
In two weeks we will be having our potluck Christmas party (please note, it is a week later this month) so bring your favorite little dish and join us for a feast. |

After many months of design and deliberation; of following City and Centre protocal, the Centre now has its new sign hanging proudly for all to see. So next time you send a first timer or next time you come yourself look up and know you have arrived exactly where you were meant to be; at The Okanagan Centre for Spiritual Living. We have moved into our expanded location 2913 29th Ave, a bigger and better place for everyone.
We now boast a burgeoning new Teahouse and Spiritual Bookstore "The Essence" where we carry the best selection of spiritual and self empowerment books in the City. It is open Monday - Friday we have an active multipurpose room where we regularly hold meditations and small classes and the larger room for Biodance, concerts, coffee houses, workshops and large classes. On Sundays these rooms become our Sanctuary and children's class play room.
We are excited and proud of this and our many improvements so if you can, come and celebrate and share in the new feel.
